“Career Edge has been the biggest stepping stone of my career in Canada.
When I immigrated in 2016, my biggest struggle being a qualified chartered accountant from India was, as I lacked Canadian work experience, proving to Canadian employers that I had the required education and skills. Fortunately, I got a six-month internship with Manulife as an auditor through Career Edge. I was able to demonstrate my skills, connect with new people, develop new skills with help from my mentor, and at the same time, build Canadian experience on my resume. After my internship, I was able to secure a permanent role at TD Bank in internal auditing.
